Europe?
Neither Scotland nor England, nor Wales are part of Europe. Europe is where the French are and yes, they do generally have to wait longer. The UK gets most things before Europe.

You're not entirely wrong about the French in WWI and WWII (there's quite a story to that of course) but they were a big help to the British during a quite unnecessary crisis during the Crimean War.
