Age Of Conan
Anyone tried this game yet? I've read a bunch of Bria's PvP'ers went to that game. Wanted a MOB'sters opinion on it.
So, can anyone tell me if this game is or

BOOBIES??? Who says it's just the kiddies???Istik wrote:Overall the people I've heard speak of it havent really been overly excited about it. I tried it for about 45mins during tech beta, but never bothered playing with general beta after the invite.
I'm sure the kiddies will all love the boobies though.
I'll give AoC a try when it works in Wine, and not before. Sticking to my Windows free world right now
Hey what's up guys =) I'm playing on the Thog server, character name I'm normally on is Drathor. So far I'm really enjoying it. I like the different melee combat system, there's lots of quests, so far haven't found any huge bugs or anything that make it unplayable. I haven't gotten to any pvp yet, so I can't comment on that.
I caved in and reinstalled windows on my main PC, bought AoC via digital download (it's still downloading as I type but should be in action tomorrow!)Toucan wrote:got it today

I bought the US version though..I suppose you're going to tell me you got the EU version?
I decided to take advantage of favourable exchange rates hehe
Hey all, I'm playen a Guardian on Doomsayer... now I saw something interesting the other day, someone running round with a Mean Old Bastards tag...
Can anyone shed any light on that for me?

Dunno, I like the play style myself.
Each to their own I spose...
Dare I say the cities are cooler than SWG... especially with sieges anyway. Main thing I did like about SWG is the go anywhereness of it, AoC is still slightly guided. That and the maps aren't quite as big...
Actually I'd be interested to see what SWG looks like on my 4870, might have to have a squizz sometime.
Might actually be able to turn shadows etc on with full detail lol.

SOE's offering a free month's worth of gameplay as part of SWG's fifth-anniversary shindig. I bit the bullet and logged in -- and much to my surprise, my toons' houses are still intact!Lokyi wrote:...Actually I'd be interested to see what SWG looks like on my 4870, might have to have a squizz sometime.

I recently upgraded my PC to a quad core monster. Only a geforce 9600gt (figured I can change the gfx card sometime) and I'm running SWG at max res with everything on full detail and shadows on...it's rock steady at swg's 30fps capLokyi wrote:Dunno, I like the play style myself.

Parrot there is a game you can play a seriel killer of sorts - its Manhunt its the grizliest sickest fun killfest ever created - its an old game now but it is that sick, it got banned.
When you grab people and hack their heads of with a machete you can keep the head and throw it, to use as a distraction device - run up behind people and smash their heads in with a baseball bat.
Near the end you get a chainsaw and carve people up real good.
You can use sneak attacks and jump from the shadows and put plastic bags over peoples heads and suffocate them, its awsome.
I heard their making a sequel and its coming out on the wii. That would be fun.
Imagine if they made a sex game for the wii and you had to use the controller to dildo jessica alba that would be cool.
Apart from games that dont exist and games that may exist the wii is rubbish bought it a month ago - played it for 30 mins and never played it since. Only got it to shut the wife up and for The force Unleashed.
