Yeah got a mail about it the other day. I'll be trying it to see if Conan runs under wine in Linux hehehe

It's a pretty big game. 12 gig download and then i've downloaded another 7gig worth of updates. The install is over 20 gig.

So you best get started on that download if you want to make it

*edit* oh and it seems today are another 4 gig of updates...

I can download that easily overnight. I don't think I am going to bother though..20gig? get real! That's almost as bad as vanguard

The install is 24gig currently, but im still downloading 4 gig of updates.

The first patch was 6gig, the second patch was 4 gig. The original installer was 12 gig.

Fileplanet subscribers will be able to get into the AoC beta soon, so if you are desperate to try it, go sub to fileplanet for a month hehe

Luckily by the time the fileplanet beta is up, I'll be on my shiney new 24mb connection, so I might actually bother downloading it for that one. If only to test if it will run in Linux under Wine :p

Just a quick post to remind those who are part of the closed beta that they are still under the NDA. I'm not sure what the difference between the open and closed beta clients are but there are purportedly differences so do bear this in mind when you post.
