After a large number of PCs stopped working following installation of the new Trinity patch for Eve Online, developers CCP were able to confirm that the patch deletes the boot.ini file from Windows XP machines. What this means is that XP users who downloaded and applied the patch within the first few hours (the patch has now been taken down) cannot reboot their PC.

i have the game only played it for 3 weeks i couldent get in to it so i canseled my acount :shock:

Eve would have to be the most UNFORGIVING MMO out there, no where is safe, some thing that has taken you years to build can be destroyed in seconds. This game has very few limits and has to be the most in depth detailed game i have ever played. Player Owned starbaes, defence grids, jump cbridges, its insane. We even have what we call DEATHSTARS now, a single shield generator and tower with nothing but gun platforms, even Captial ships get scared of these things.

My Corp (Guild) has over 6000 people, and over 2000 active Corp players at any time, our server hosts anywhere from 20,000-40,000 players at once in a singel server.

To see is to belive, 1000 vs 1000 fleet battles..... man, its like nothing you have ever played ....

Suppose thats why ive played for 4 years now and proberly wont ever stop.

Oh Eve how I hate that game. More like a job than a game. I played it in the beginning, was a founding member of BDCI, but the CEO was a r/l friend of mine who decided he liked the game more than his friends. If you see Seleene in game, tell him Tareel says hello, than pod him please.
