I'm not even a big Trek fan and this game looks pretty cool. This game will destroy lives and marriages. I can picture Trekkies (Trekkers?) donning their Borg and Vulcan costumes before plotting down in front of their PCs to boot up this game- and then sitting there for months at a time while their minds go into RP mode. God help them when the patch updates shut servers down.

Star Trek has a HUGE RP community. I know there are even RP maps for Star Trek FPS games.

Many years ago I was a member of a P&P Star Trek RP group, but I just didnt have the time I wanted to sit down and do it after I got home from work and had a life

Very nice work they have done on the ships. My hopes for this game are very high. Being a Trek fan myself, growing up on it, probably more than I did with Star Wars.
