We remember bad news cbeginning to come in just about when Intel pushed its Core 2 Duo into the market in Q3 of 2006 and there is no end in sight yet: With the first quarter winding down, TG Daily learned that AMD is reducing its workforce by another 5%.

Does that mean that the two new execs earn as much as the 16,000 people that got fired?
It would be very bad if AMD/ATI failed. Intel and Nvidia would again have the monopoly and I'd have to buy a crappy nvidia card.
