When downloading on bittorrent, it uploads at the same time,

my question is...................
What exactly am i uploading??????

You uploading the parts you are downloading. the same as everyone else.
So while you getting from them, people are getting it from you. The more people, the faster everyone gets it.
Use of undefined constants causes assumptions!

Generally speaking, for a single seed release, the transfer will be no quicker than DC.

The advantage is that while the seeder is giving stuff to (say) one person, that person is sending all the parts to others who also have the file queued; and each person swaps parts among themselves.

Given enough bandwidth, this means that a single-seeded release can reach practically all downloaders simultaneously. Once multiple seeders are on line the last leechers get given more and more bandwidth, meaning that pretty much everyone gets a copy with a day of each other.

It's like the system Phil uses with RARs and DC++, but it's all automatic - you don't have to do any more than queue the download and decide how much bandwidth to give.
