Newbie having probs connecting

I'm having trouble getting BCDC++ to connect to the nstas hub. When I try to connect, I get something like:
*** Connecting to... nstashub.no-ip.org...
*** Connected...
and then nothing... no welcome banner and no list of users. I've tried using the backup hub as well, but get the same thing. Hopefully, I haven't been driving people mad with connecting/disconnecting trying to get the thing working.
I'm presently using BCDC++ 0.242c, but have also tried DC++ 0.25 with the same result.
I can connect to public hubs without any problems, it's just the nstashub that seems to be causing grief. My ip is in the range 203.113.244.x (ie Netspace), so I don't think I'm being blocked on IP address.
I've opened the appropriate UDP/TCP ports through my firewall and mapped them through NAT. I've tried using passive mode, but I don't think that this is the problem, since I can connect to other sites.
Am I missing something obvious or doing something really dumb? Any assistance would be gratefully received.
Schred.
