I have gone and bought a nVidia 8800 GT graphics card.

I have never really got on with nVidia cards in the past, hopefully this time round will be a better experience.

Goodluck with SWG. Let me know if they have fixed the lava on Mustafar and the other black screen bugs

It's apparently around 10 FPS better in high resolution benchmarks than your old DX9 card. Though almost double in the lower resolutions. If you are going to use Vista to take advantage of the DX10, then you will lose those 10 FPS just from the OS apparently. Also being Nvidia, you will lose a little image quality, most likely to gain that extra performance.

There's a lot of reviews about for this card and it looks like a good performer.

Have Nvidia added any form of driver reset function in this current generation of cards, like ATI cards have, or do they still BSOD when the driver locks up? Along with the image quality, thats the other main issue I have with Nvidias of the past.

In a nutshell, he's telling you that you should have bought an ATI

my 8800 works just fine and the lavla looks like lave and no lag in the game and im running it with vista the shutle droide i can see my reflection in them im verry imprest with it i just want to sli it now and see what happends.
