Starting in July, if you tune to the Sci Fi Channel to watch reruns of Star Trek The Next Generation or Star Trek Enterprise or Ron Moore’s Battlestar Galactica you will notice that the channel has a new name ‘SyFy.’ NBC Universal announced the change this morning saying that it will ‘broaden the appeal’ of the network. Really?

One of the many ways people justify their jobs. One of the many ways a corporation wastes money.

What happened to pasta hut the pizza hut near me has never changed its name.

Scyfy, is that to trick people into tuning in. Is the great master plan that all those viewers that dont watch sci-fi stuff because they thinks its sad and geeky, will tune in and watch star trek bsg, and crappy sci-fi made movies like cyclops and not realise they are watching sci-fi.

Cyclops is that bad you have to see it, its like a really bad episode of kevin sorbos hercules but without the acting talent of sorbo, infact the worst episode of hercules ever is oscar worthy compared to cyclops, eric roberts is in it and hes hilarious. He has that look on his face that says i really need the money and they aint paying me enough to act.
