Just about to set of to go and see the watchmen, hope its v good. I remember reading it years ago, used to own it until my mum took it and loads of comics to a church jumble sale. Damn the original series might be worth money now.

Will give an opinion when I get back.

I wont spoil anything about it, if youve not read the original material, but its very well structered, its not a typical movie that spoon feeds you. It does jump in different time frames sometimes but doesnt have dates flash up all the time. It is a movie that needs a lot attention to be paid. However it is fairly obvious when it jumps time frames, by the age of the characters, clothes and historical situations the characters are in etc. Ive read it can be confusing to those that have never read the original, although it was years ago I read it, and a lot of stuff I had forgotten was in there and wasnt until I was driving home that I remembered it in the original book form. But I didnt find it confusing, it's just a damn good movie, that requires the watcher to pay attention, some things arent fully explained but they dont need to be, which is a very good thing.

Theres too many recent movies that spoon feed the watcher almost insulting the watchers intelligence , this movie isnt one of them. The movie could have been about anything, and the fact its an intelligent film that doesnt assume the watcher is an idiot is very refreshing, even if you think the material is shit, the fact it doesnt assume you as a viewer need to told the story like a five year old makes it worth seeing. Whos watching the watchmen we are, lol

The movie was my first experience with anything pertaining to the watchmen. But this is a very good movie, I liked it a lot.

Just wish there hadn't been that many teenager girls there, Dr. Manhattan scene if you need a hint (laughs and omg abound).
