Arthur C. Clarke has died

The very first SciFi book I ever read was written by Arthur C. Clarke and I have followed his work throughout my own life. This is very sad news.

Rest well and thank you for the work that you did and the stories you shared.

He had a long life and made a name for himself. If only we were all so lucky.

Yes, a great man.
One of the great moments of my young life was seeing 2001 in the Cinema for the first time, nobody had seen anything like it before.

Naw a "Ghost in the machine" like Dave Bowman.

I read all his '01' stories as well as a few others. I will echo that he had a long and wonderful life..
