Walruses invade Alaska beaches, alarm conservationists

Thousands of walrus have appeared on Alaska's northwest coast in what conservationists are calling a dramatic consequence of global warming melting the Arctic sea ice.

When reached for comment on why they were taking this action, the leader of the walruses said "It's the right thing to do," then muttered something about his diabeetus and shuffled off.

(Sorry...Wilfred Brimley joke...it's been that kind of day so far)
