I think it's marvellous that his creator, Michael Bond, was contacted by BBC Radio 4's Today Show

Good news.

"The point of the advert is that Paddington always has marmalade in his sandwiches. He simply tries Marmite."

Thats sounds like someone making excuses to me, seems to me we need a new law to remove the rights to Paddington from "Paddington & Co" back to the original owner.

Maybe I should start a petition on the Downing Street petition web site.
