Dropbox gives you 2Gb of online storage (Loads more if you pay for it). If you use this friend link to sign up, you get an extra 250Mb, plus an extra 250Mb for doing a small "Getting Started Quest", as well as another 640Mb for linking your account with various social sites, for a total of 3.14Gb free storage.

When you install the Dropbox application, it will create a folder on your computer that automatically synchronises with the online server and also between multiple computers. Very handy for backing up photos or documents you don't want to lose if your computer goes bad. You can also share certain files publicly, or create a unique link to share a single file with select people.

Now download Game Save Manager (Free), and you can schedule backups of all your games (even those no longer installed). GSM looks for game save folders, rather than the game itself. You will see a list of all the games saves you have on your computer and you choose which to back up. You then have a choice of backing up to the dropbox account you created above, private ftp, network or local drive. All files are also compressed to save space. You can also use this combination of tools to sync save games across multiple computers.
