i'd prefer american muscle from that era (and maybe even a touch earlier) to anything japanese/european tho.

Dodge Challenger for me please. Ever since Vanishing Point. http://www.vanishingpointmania.com/challenger.htm, or a Charger. Ford Mustang, AC Cobra, GT40.

Though there are some Jap cars too. Like the Datsun 1100 Coupe, 240Z, 260Z, 510 Bluebird. Mazda RX100, RX2, RX3.

theres some crazy nice old hemis, 67 chargers are prime. i like my big luxury american cars, things like 63 oldmobile ninety-eights (sorry, good pics are hard to come by; looks alot like this from the front, with this tail end), aswell as 57 buick hardtops and 63 rivieras.

the jap cars u mention are quite good, tho i cant say id heard of a 1100 coupe before. only other things that spring to mind are kpgc10 and kpgc110 skylines.

The old GTR skylines are very nice. I dont think ive ever seen one in Aus though. Im sure that there are somewhere. Id love one.

The Datusn 1000 coupe is what i meant to say. I used to have one, now i have a 1200 Ute. Im getting engine sizes mixed with the 1100 Escort

there were a few really really good condition kpgc10s for sale in Unique Cars magazine a few months back, asking prices were in the high 30k region. there was even a prince GT-R for sale one issue
