haha, thought it might be interesting. :mrgreen:

One thing that does annoy me in this otherwise-excellent application is that you have to do the download queuing manually.

I forgot to do it once and missed out on 12 hours of downloads, all because I didn't press 'find alternate sources'.

More flexible programs just do it - you slect what you want and they go off and find everybody with that file, and keep checking for new sources.

after using shareaza, dc sux honestly.
peopl askin for slots etc

also im so used to multisource and high speed already, that i connected to DC thinkin ill give people other source for downloads for a while, then remembered they can only get from one source.

what would be cool is if we used shareaza for downloads and dc for the chat and filelists,

no begging or waiting for slots
no single source
high speed
no server

oh and i dont have this fuckin annoying bug with corrupt files

You're preaching to the coverted, already. Multisource is the future, it's just a question of time whether DC will follow the trend, or fall by the wayside (eventually) as some flash up-and-comer with a better featureset muscles it out of the market.

No, cause im not looking at this as "porksters shareaza" im seeing this because its a better program for sharing. though it needs work, eg. the file lists SUCK and there is not chat channels or irc integrated.

There is no arguing that most of us would rather be downloading from multiple sources at 10-50kb/s rather than begging for slots and getting 3-8kb/s

basicly im getting adsl downloads, you guys in DC are getting 56k speed.
plus some files corrupt for some users.

this is why i think DC should be nothing more than a chat server with the ability to download people filelists. much like IRC.
Im only back in DC to allow some of you that havent got shareaza runnign tha chance to get another slot (not another source) for your downloads.
