yer only advantage that i can see from using recode is being able to rip entire dvds. DVDShrink is perfect for large movies an just ripping the main movie itself, where as recode does the whole lot (extras/ menu/ chapter selection) which rawks. Told ya Its so damn simple to use, an i found it great for doing dvds the simple way. Its cool how you can choose the audio that goes onto the DVD, but just make sure you choose the right channels, as you dont want directors cut audio on the DVD trust me did that for WindTalkers so annoying plus sub...

But those ones @ salamanca systems are just a cheapo 2x brand arnt they?? Thats why their so cheap. As a mate of mine bought a 5 cd pack from there an the discs were only able to be burnt @ 2x and were DVD-R's which was VERY slow.. and they were some cheapo brand i have never heard of, cant remember...
