There is a linux port of eMule now available. Its still in alpha and lacks a few features of the win32 client which will be implemented in future versions but its functional. Looks promising.

another client to try
I agree with johnd - emule for win32 is a pretty good client. However, I use mldonkey which searches the edonkey network, soulseek, dc, gnutella, xnap, giFT and overnet networks all at once (at least the linux version does). The interface (at least on the linux client) is kludgy and I can't say I'm ...
